This is why BFS will be gone by 1/10/14
In my honest opinion the Dave's will be unable to employ BFS come the end of September.....and here are the reason.

Boring football- we all know this issue and he is doing little to change our style.

Supporter backlash-this will continue until he's gone.

We play Hull (a)
Liverpool (h)
Man Utd (a)
between now and then. For the past 2 seasons we had accumulated 8pts and 5 pts respectively leaving us 10th in 2012 and 17th last season. We may get 1 pt out of the above fixtures, but I doubt it going on yesterday's dismal showing. So, we may enter October on 3 pts which will put us firmly in the bottom three. At this point there can be no further reason to keep the fat toad and the Daves need to protect their investment. He will be gone.

What do you lot think?

If they were going to get rid they would have done so in the summer. They will let his contract run down now.

penners. I don't think they can to wait past the above date. Imagine the cost to them if we get relegated versus the paltry 4 M contact payout to fuck off fatman?

No brainer mate.

Why not now?
We have won 2 home games in 6 months
Both against 10 men

He has been found out and he knows it.

Get use to it. We are stuck with Fatty. Too much to pay him off.

The 50 year old Eto'o had his own pre-season because he was busy for weeks looking for a new club after release from Chelsea. Did Martinez say he wasn't fit for his debut yesterday? He scored a goal and looked really sharp.
According to the fat man, Valencia is not match fit, ditto Sakho.
Yet he has that lumbering idiot Cole up front as first choice. He's taking the piss and Sullivan is now paying the penalty for not outing the cunt months ago.

I fear that the moment the transfer window shuts he will be asked to leave and then our guarantee of premiership football will be gone as the board look to recruit a manager without having to give him a transfer purse.

Finally Sam has had the chance to buy the players he wants rather than using what he inherited. The Palace game will show you he is more than capable of getting a team to win games and entertain. Let's back him as I doubt there are many managers out there we could attract.

I'm more than confident in saying he'll get run,the sooner the better he's days are numbered.
Hopefully the cunt will end up btoken iving in a shit ridden ditch.

They feel he is the right man for the job. Why? Who knows, but we are stuck with him as they have admitted they cannot afford to sack him....apparently

we had 30k midweek for a league cup game. when is this supporter backlash gonna start?

Re: This is why BFS will be gone by 1/10/14
The whole can't afford to sack a manager is bullshit in my not so humble opinion.

He's on his last year of his contract now so they either pay him till the end of season and fuck off a lot of the fans or pay him off which is the same money as employing him and try again.

They've spent well this summer and I won't criticise them for it but I will hammer them for not sacking the fat cunt. He's the 12th man and he suffocates us.

We're a Martinez or a Pocechino from a good team.

Re: This is why BFS will be gone by 1/10/14
He doesn't have 5 years on his contract you are a complete mug if you think its too much to pay off someone with 9 months remaining. That is a ridiculous excuse.

They probably think that anyone that will take the job won't be much better and the cost of hiring a new manager and allowing him to make shit purchases is too high and too risky. They incorrectly think they can have it both ways.

3 year contract signed in 2013 £3m a season. 2 seasons to go.

EastHamBull,

No, it expires next summer. Try a link to an article written after he signed the contract, not before.

I was thinking the same thing (although I was sure they would tin him in the summer) if we lose to Hull and go a goal down to Liverpool I think we may FINALLY see our gutless home support grow a backbone and demand the removal of this cancerous cunt from the football club.

The annoying thing about this massive cunt is that he always seems to dig out a result when he really needs it, Spuds at home end of last term being the last time.

Re: This is why BFS will be gone by 1/10/14
times have changed, theres too many supporters who suffer mediocrity, its different now, put this team and allardyce in the 90's, he would be gone by now,
macari was awful, but fan pressure got him out, the bond scheme got kicked out,
and more recently terence brown.

everyones brain washed in to thinking that if we come midtable and toss off the cup competitions its acceptable.

and not even fans vote with there feet, more often than not tickets are bought in advance, so fans honour it.
i wonder how many would show up if its pay on the day.
i hope your right and he is gone, but he survived last season by the skin of his teeth, and i expect him to do the same this season,
this board are getting to the point where the olynpic stadium is so massive in the clubs future, that there happy to limp over the finishing line to preserve our premiership status.
in the meantime we're served up absolute shit football, from a manager who i beleive is just after severance pay.
even his defensive fundamentals have disappeared now, soton could;ve easily left yesterday with 5 possibly 6 goals.

its down to the supporters now to get him out,
otherwise i fear for us this season.

I am optimistic he'll be gone by end of October

Sadly I have no faith in the owners getting a decent replacement so the future looks bleak and boring

Terry Brown wasn't forced out. He did make an exceptionally nice wedge on his initial minuscule investment though. You do know he purchased the majority shares of the club at a very low rate?

He laughed all the way to Barclay's bank. Of which he is also a board member.
